(Queen's Park) Newmarket-Aurora MPP Frank Klees today welcomed nine year-old Marie Nielsen and her mother Bente to Queen's Park and acknowledged Marie's achievements in the Ontario Legislature.
Marie Nielsen is the recipient of both the Canadian and American National Jack Russell Trials "Child Handler of the Year Award."
"Through her commitment and dedication to what she loves to do, Marie has won these prestigious awards that represent public acknowledgement for her innovative hard work by leaders in her field of interest on both sides of the border," Klees said.
"That Marie has accomplished this at the age of nine is a further tribute to her willingness to work hard and her dedication to excellence. These qualities deserve to be recognized."
"On behalf of the Parliament of Ontario, I join with Marie's family, friends and her community in proudly congratulating her on her achievements."
